| Defensive Shotgun |
SMF’s Defensive Shotgun course is a 4 hour course that provides shooters
with general knowledge on defensive shotgun selection and employment in
close quarters. The course begins by teaching shooters how to pattern their
shotgun and select the appropriate ammunition for their own requirements.
Shooters will also be taught important reloading techniques and various ways
to employ the shotgun against multiple targets as well as employing the
shotgun while moving.
All participants are required to supply their own defensive style pump or semi-
auto shotgun; 15 rds. 00 Buckshot, 10 rds. Slugs, and 100 rds. Birdshot; and

Reloading under Stress
Shooting/reloading on the move
Tactics for searching your home
One handed Tactics

This course is open to all shooters age 21 and older.
SMF Solutions will provide hearing and eye protection (if needed) for all participants.

This class is private instruction only. If you have a group of at least 5 shooters we
will schedule a private class time for your group. Class times are dependant upon
availability of the instructors, but SMF will make every effort to accommodate your
group's schedule request.
