Battery Ordinance
Information according to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act
Due to the distribution of electrical and electronic equipment, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
Symbol "crossed-out waste bin"
All electrical/electronic devices that can be used in private households are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled waste bin shown below.
This symbol means: Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Instead, old electrical equipment must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste.
Obligation to remove old batteries and rechargeable batteries as well as lamps
Before handing over the old device to a collection point, you must non-destructively separate any old batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the old device, as well as lamps that can be removed from the old device without damage.
Take-back obligation
According to ElektroG2, we are not obliged to take back old electrical equipment, as our storage areas are smaller than described in the law.
Other return options
In addition, private households can also dispose of their old electrical appliances free of charge at one of the municipal collection points. An online directory of collection and take-back points near you can be found here: https://www.ear-system.de/ear-verzeichnis/sammel-und-ruecknahmestellen#no-back

Information about batteries/accumulators

Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium

Used batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not enclosed in the old device must be removed before being handed over to the logistics provider UPS. They can be returned free of charge to a public collection point or to any retailer that sells batteries and rechargeable batteries. You can also return your batteries and rechargeable batteries, which we currently or previously offered as new batteries/rechargeable batteries in our product range, to us free of charge in household quantities: celexon Europe GmbH, Used Batteries Disposal, Gutenbergstraße 2, 48282 Emsdetten, Germany.
